Are You Frustrated with Networking Results?
Are you frustrated with the results you get from networking? Tell me where you are networking and what’s causing your frustration. Perhaps I can help you move past that “block” to get the results you are seeking from your networking activities.
Are you listening to what others have to say? Are you finding a way to let others know how they can help you? Are you telling others about you and what you do or are you immediately attempting to sell to them?
I posted on Twitter tonight to ask that question and I’d love to know your answer!
If I were to provide a solution for your frustration, how would that make a difference in your life?
Looking forward to all your answers and comments!

Thank you Carol for touching on this subject as I believe that the internet in itself is wonderful and can be very powerful if used correctly.
One thing that really ERK’S me …… is when people try to take short cut’s and have end up being RUDE and showing no inter-quet what so ever.
It is possible to earn income online but it does not come overnight no matter what internet shortcut, or spam tools you use.
So if you don’t know how to use them correctly and you have to use Spam to achieve what you want, then do use a favor and don’t try to ruin other people’s dreams.
Thank you Scott

I cannot say I am frustrated by things outside; that implies I am not taking personal responsibility for my life. The problems and solutions are me.
People who spam are taking a short cut. I put them in two categories. Some don’t care. Some don’t know.
Netweeaving, making friends before you need them, digging the well before you thirst and paying forward are counter intuitive and NOT a part of the culture we are bathed in daily by the media, press, business and many times our family and friends.
Personal experience is that it took me 1500 connections on Linkedin to move from in-your-face ” this is what I need” power prospecting that turns people off and away to a pay it forward approach. It took a while, seeing others, reading and meeting Carol to slowly change my way of thinking.

Hi Jim,
Paying It Forward and helping others is a definite mindset shift. Some get it, others never get it. Those that do understand it realize the power behind helping others. New networkers joining LinkedIn, MySpace, FaceBook, and Twitter, to name a few, don’t ALL have the proper networking training and/or experience they need. It takes an army of people, like yourself, willing to step out and “lead by example.” Only then do they realize the error of their ways and change their mindset. When that happens, it’s absolutely amazing how the relationships develop and business blossoms!
Once again, thanks for your comments – I appreciate you reading and commenting on my blog. What can I do to help you today – to put a smile on your face?
To Your Networking SUccess!
Carol
