Customer Service - why don't more entrepreneurs and small business owners realize how powerful that is to the growth of their business. I would much prefer having 98% of my business growth coming from referrals than to have paid for 98% of my business growth through advertising and marketing! Thanks for your thoughts on this post. Customer Service – why don’t more entrepreneurs and small business owners realize how powerful that is to the growth of their business. Nothing turns me off faster than ambivalent behavior --- so often we see it in today's market place. I believe each customer should be treated like a guest in our home and if you treat folks that way, they will feel special and will appreciate what you offer them. Word of mouth advertising is still the best advertising available. That doesn't mean it's cheap --- sometimes it's more work than paying for an ad.
